Best tuna salad bagel sandwich in town. Evenly prepared, not afraid to add celery and onions in the tuna mix, avocado, red onion -- its nearly perfect. Also, the breakfast sandwiches are da bomb. They egg is fresh (not from a carton) and the cheese is melted nice and gooey over it.... and then there is bacon. Yumm. They butter the inside of the bagel too. Add a little tabasco sauce and a cup of joe and I'm a happy girl.

There has to be a reason why most of the comments are alike, decent price, ok bagels, but lousy service. It's the attitude of the staff. Learn some manners and treat people with decency. After all it's Los Alamitos, not the ghetto. If you don't like this job, go get another one. Though from the sign that has been there promoting a job, it might be the management that treats them bad and then they take it out on the customers. This might be why no one wants to work there. This is no way to run a business that you want to keep afloat. All I'm saying is , Please heed these posts and teach your staff to have a better attitude.

Okay, this place has some pretty good bagels and offers lots of bagel sandwich options. Their bagels aren't the best in SoCal but are the best in this local spot. My preference is the salt bagel while my wife prefers the blueberry.

Bagels are great, everything bagel is legit. They have great espresso drinks, fresh squeezed OJ and fresh fruit too, which I love. The bagels are 5 star quality, but the staff is miserable. The service they give is actually okay in that they are fast and efficient, however they are unfriendly. I honestly believe it pains them to smile or greet you. They act as if you are an inconvenience, and yes, this is all of them. What's weird is that this has always been the case at this place, at least for the last 10 years that I've been a customer.

I don't think I've found a better Everything bagel. It's got the toppings on both sides!! I've been to so many places where half of the bagel is covered and the other half is plain. I also get the whole wheat. It's amazing. Fresh and fluffy. The service is very quick. The girls seem to always keep moving in the back. The only complaint I have is the cleaning of the patio. They have enough people working there so at least one is responsible for cleaning the tables. No one seems to take initiative to grab a towel and wipe the tables. It's so small so 4 tables to keep clean shouldn't be that difficult. I really think the owner needs to address the issue. Other than that, they really have some of best bagels I've tasted.

Love this place! The sun-dried tomato bagel is delicious! I like to add tomato and cheddar and have it toasted. Pair that with fresh orange juice and you're in for a great day!

  • Ryan F.

Great bagels and great coffee. They have a ton of bagel varieties to choose from, and they have a cozy little place to hang out.

  • Yellow S.

yummy bagels! big sandwiches. nice selection of cream cheese blend. blended mocha drinks are delish. they have coffee punch cards! prices are reasonable. friendly and fast service.

The Bagel shop ROCKS!!! It is small and quaint but definitely makes a great bagel. The one I had was a Tomato Herb and Basil bagel with the Onion and Chives cream cheese. This bagel had such an amazing unique flavor that it places the heat on all other surrounding bagel shops. Another order that we had was an Everything Bagel Toasted with cream cheese, avocado and lemon pepper. This bagel was immaculate! Quite frankly I have never tasted a bagel like it before and probably never will again unless I order it from Bonjour Bagel.

  • Kailyn B.

Eating an Everything with Jalapeno cream cheese! So yumm! The Bagels are fluffy, and the everything had seasoning on both top and bottom. The Jalapeno Cream Cheese is spicy but not too spicy! The coffee was great too. I agree the customer service is not amazing, but it's not that bad either. I am just grabbing breakfast before work; I am not going to chat with the employees. All in all the food is really good, the service is pretty fast, and the price is right around average.. and you get better bagels then you would at any other (average) place.

  • Beneta P.

they have the best bagels!! Make sure to try the onion and chives cream cheese. Good price and good quality.

  • Pathu S.

I drive to from Cerritos to Bonjour Bagel all the time because there is no bagel shop in my area and they consistently do a great job of fulfilling my fresh bagel craving. They have good cream cheese options and variety of bagels at a great price. They also make DELICIOUS sandwiches for lunch. Service has always been good as well. I wish they closed later but that's not practical for a breakfast bagel shop. I also wished it was closer to home because this would be my go-to breakfast spot everyday.

  • Cam M.

I usually have my breakfast or lunch here 3 times a week. I love their egg salad bagel! Even just a bagel with cream cheese is delicious. Plus they are affordable. The bagels are thick and chewy, sooo good!! The only problem I have had is that the girls sometimes are too busy talking to each other to take my order when I come in. Overall, great food!

    (4)
  • Lisa K.

Wrost service ever!!!! This was my first visit at this place. Bagels smell good. But I was in line and this guy walk right to the front of the counter and the cashier seen next in line but she took his order instead. Then when I said I was next in line she rolled her eyes at me. Amanda is her name. Then she continued to help the guy. I don't know what they think customer service is but they need to get it together .....

    (1)
  • Angela K.

The bagels sold here are simply delicious! I usually order the cinnamon-sugar bagel when I crave something sweet. However, try to avoid coming here during lunchtime on the weekdays. The place is usually packed with high schoolers. I try to beat them to it by coming earlier or after they've gone back to class.

    (4)
  • Dan S.

What a rude little snot they had working the counter today!!! I get cinnamon sugar bagels here every Sunday AM for 3 fam's. She acted like I was trying to rob the place by asking for a doz.! Not sure if I'll be back again!

    (1)
  • Jen T.

I stopped off here on a sunday morning the grab a late breakfast. It's quite the hidden gem this place! I ordered the breakfast bagel with a coffee and I found the bagel to be fresh and very delicious. The eggs... were ok but everything else was good. They give you a good size sandwich for the price you pay and their different varieties of coffee was a plus! I would definitely come back because I want to try one of their sandwiches!

    (4)
  • Melissa F.

I would drive distances for their bagels. My favorite is an everything bagel, plain cream cheese, avocado and lemon pepper. So heavenly! They have such a large selection of bagels and spreads. By far my favorite place go grab a bagel!

    (5)
  • Lynard G.

good bagel spot, nice variety of bagels and spreads. $10 minimum or $0.50 service charge for under $10 purchase tho-- so bring cash to avoid that minor annoyance. my favorite is the spinach parmesan bagel with veggie cream cheese yay!

    (4)
  • Kako I.

Love their bagels! Fresh and best around. Stayed away for almost 3 years...reason being rude servive. My foodie blog followers suggested I go back and try again. People nothing has changed! The owner creates his/her bagels with LOVE. Such a disappointment it doesn't reflect on how they treat their adoring customers. My recommendation to my viewers "move on" .

    (2)
  • Brittany S.

Super fresh bagels. I haven't had a great bagel since I lived in Manhattan. This is pretty close! I had an everything bagel with jalepeno cream cheese. The jalepeno cream cheese was pretty mild but the bagel was delish!

    (5)
  • Ursula G.

Cute little bagel/coffee place. Service is alright, but quality is excellent. None of the chain bagel place feel... good tasting hearty bagels, esp the breakfast ones with cheese and butter.... so bad, but so good.

    (4)
  • Greg T.

solid bagels at solid prices. everything toasted with veggie cream cheese ran me $2.25. bagels are more on the airy side vs. the chewy/dense side. For those looking for more substance they make egg bagels with cheese and meat options. Service was quick and friendly.

    (3)
  • Kacie K.

Quick and friendly service, huge bagel sandwiches with tons of options. And the prices aren't bad for what you get!

    (5)
  • Cara L.

one of the few places that makes fresh salmon spread, great bagels, and fresh OJ...yumm!!!

    (4)
  • TuhReesa A.

I can understand why people think the service is less than par. There was 7 people in line & only 1 girl working she did pretty well but then sanitation took a back seat. Make the sandwiches handle money make the sandwiches handle money and so on. Oh well I got my sandwich before the rush and it was decent so I'm satisfied.

    (3)
  • Mike M.

Started going here for the breakfast bagel, the cranberry is great. Once you have been there a few times the girls will say good morning and already have started your order before you get to the counter. Coffee is good and the expresso is as well. Its my regular morning stop, try it.

    (5)
  • Eunice R.

The bagels are warn and toasty while there was a lot of cream chease... I'm not huge bagel fan so I can't really tell if they are better than other cafes. The sale, however, for the one day bagels, is really good! $2 for 6 one-day-old bagels. Better deal than costco!

    (4)
  • E S.

this place brings me back memories from my high school years... it was such a treat when someone brought in bagels from here for the 1st period class. this place also has great selection of bagel sandwiches. i haven't been back in years; i shall go the next time i'm in town to visit my parents.... i'm getting nostalgic now....

    (4)
  • Harold G.

Best bagels ever!!! I have had many bagels from many other places and without a doubt these are the best. These have a soft but crusty outside and a soft chewy inside. They have a wide variety (at least 15) to please anybody. My favorites are everything, plain, sourdough, tomato basil, garlic, onion, rye, and jalapeño. Oh yeah really all of them. If I happen to get a bagel that is still warm, it doesn't make it out of the parking lot. The girls over the years have always been very friendly and helpful. If you have time, stop and have one if their sandwiches. Those are delicious as well. And whatever you do, don't forget the cream cheese. What is a bagel without the cream cheese.. ..

    (5)
  • Rose A.

Still great bagels make sure if you order a plain or sweet one that it's not toasted so close to a garlic one really messes up flavors .. no outside table for dogs no more ..

  • Alexis B.

What a cute little bagel shop! My sis and I drove alllllll the way down from Newport to get my mom Katella Deli's infamous chicken noodle soup, but I was soooooooo hungry. I need food no later than 9am unless I'm dead sleep! My sister was in a bagel mood and I told her I know just the place. I never been here before but I would pass it almost every day on the way to work. Finally I had the time to do so. So we drove into this little shopping center and parked right up front. Beware of this parking lot, its a little tight and double check when backing in or out! So sis and I walk in and check out the menu and I already knew what she was getting LOL. She orders a toasted buttered blueberry bagel with blueberry schmear. That day I ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich, on a jalapeno bagel. Service was great by the way! We took a seat and waited and food came out in a reasonable time. Grabbed some hot sauce and started to chow down. The bagels are nicely assembled, no slipping and sliding of ingredients falling out my bagel. I hate that lol My bagel was neatly prepared. This bagel wasn't mouthgasmic BUT it was very solid. The bacon was your standard bacon and not thick cut. Most bagel places do this, probably keeps food cost low. I still think investing in thick cut is the way to go since bacon is every where! Again a solid bagel but I'd order the bagel and lox next time since I saw that food porn on IG and I need to get one of those next time! My sister enjoyed her bagel VERY much! That was more important than enjoying mine. Next time we're in the area and have a bagel craving, this will be our stop!

    (4)
  • Raegan C.

This place has quality bagels that are very tasty Double toasted was almost barely toasted so I wish it could have been crispier...oh well next time I'll know Make sure to try the bagels!!

    (5)
  • Elizabeth H.

I've been coming to bonjour bagel for years to get my bagel and frosty fix. The Customer service here used to be horrible; however, the last few times I have been I have noticed the employees have been nicer. Bagels to try: cinnamon sugar for sure, sun dried tomato and basil is always great, and you can never go wrong with an everything bagel. Also get a frosty I always go with the plain, but great vanilla

Carbs on Carbs on Carbs! ^___^ Lets face it, I love anything with bread! My mom had her gallbladder out and while she was in surgery we headed to Los Alamitos to get her some soup from Katella Deli and needed a snack before we headed back to the hospital, of course Alexis B. can yelp at the speed of lightening so when she mentioned she wanted a bagel I knew she could find a spot! This place is so quaint and it wasn't a CF since we came after the breakfast rush and their was still a variety of bagels to choose from, I love blueberry bagels with butter and blueberry cream cheese it's my go to bagel! My sister always likes savory bagels so she always opts for a bagel sandwich or loxs. She went for a bagel breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon with a side of jalapeno cream cheese. I really loved my bagel and the cream cheese it was so delicious! I felt like the bagels were super fresh and buttery! I loved every bite! Sometimes bagel shops make blueberry bagels taste fake and artificial but this one next to Einsteins were BOMB! We didn't have any problems with the staff since their seems to be a good amount of reviews talking about customer service all of the girls were nice and hard working, they weren't just standing around and gossiping like most girls do, they were do their job and made awesome product! If I was in the area I'd definitely come back! ^___^

I was in Seal Beach like a fish out of LA water and desperately needed a morning beverage/bite before a conference and my trusty Yelp app led me on a yellow brick road to Bonjour Bagel Cafe. The young girl helping me was as friendly as the gatekeeper to Oz before learning Dorothy was Dorothy, she was only needed to place my order so thankfully I could ignore her "I hate my life" attitude for most of the transaction. I landed on the awesome $4.60 combo of a bfast bagel and large coffee (or OJ). Sold! Picking the bagel was a little harder of a task since the wall lined behind frowny face was riddled with doughy delights of all different flavors. The bagel bfast sandwich had serious girth and I appreciated the heartiness of the am handheld. I added avocado, which is never a bad decision. Ever. The coffee was not an 8oz or even a 12oz, but a whopping 16oz cup and there were about 5 flavors to choose from which made it even more of a bang for your buck opp than I could have imagined. While definitely not the most delicious of coffees, it did the trick. I don't know the last time I was treated to such a hefty on-the-go meal for less than $5.

Love, love, love their bagels! My absolute favorite splurge is to get a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese! It's like a little slice of heaven! This is the only bagel shop worth going to with 20 miles! No one else makes a good New York style bagel worth its salt, literally! Bon appetite!

    (5)
  • Alyssa S.

Been coming here for years! Best bagels ever and their hot chocolate is good too. Breakfast bagels are amazing if you're in the mood for egg and bacon or a cinnamon sugar bagel is good for something on the sweet side. Enjoy!

    (5)
  • Tara M.

Absolutely love their onion bagel w/ turkey, cream cheese, avo and bacon! They'll even cute the inside of the bagel for you! You should try their French roast, it's perfect!

Say BONJOUR to the BAGEL CAFÉ This is probably the BEST BAGEL place near my house! If there is another one I haven't ran across it yet or don't know about it! I started coming here years ago! In the early mornings while on my way to run errands and get them over with on a Saturday! This place gets SUPER PACKED out but they are as quick as they can be with making and ringing up your purchases! You can get all sorts of BAGEL sandwiches here as well which makes having breakfast more fun! Being that I'm NOT a HUGE fan of just eating just BREAD I like the variety and that they are ALWAYS FRESH! This place also opens up at the butt crack of dawn making it easy to swing by before heading to work! They always have day old BAGELS buy the half or whole dozen you can purchase. Even though they are a day old you can bet they are STILL more fresh then the ones in the store that have been sitting there a week on the shelf! Usually the packs are a variety of what was left over the previous day so they are NEVER the same! But you still get a variety. A nice to have if you're having a bunch of out of towners and don't want to slave over a stove to cook for them! It's bad enough they didn't bother to get a hotel and now they expect you to cook too! REALLY! Buy a bag of bagels, some muffins, oj, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt and call it a day! If they don't like that they will either go out to eat, NOT using your car or money, or next time stay at hotel where they get a buffet breakfast included in the price of their stay! LOLOLOLOL! Can you tell I am NOT a fan of the house guest! Like most BAGEL places they will cut your BAGEL open, toast it, add butter, cream cheese or jelly and like I mentioned before you can get a breakfast sandwich! I tend to forget about this place because it is NOT located in my path to work! Meaning it is NOT on the way to the freeway and I would need to go WAY OUT of my way to get a BAGEL which would also mean leaving an additional 20 minutes early to drive there and then to the freeway so I can go to work! Soooo I'll just keep it to the weekend visits! The service is REALLY GOOD HERE! They all work as a well oiled machine to get you in and out! They have a few tables inside and out you can sit at and of course they have their regulars to which they already know what they want which is always a plus! If you into BAGEL this place will hook you up! I'm not sure if they do the thin BAGEL but its worth asking!

  • Stephanie W.

Amazing bagels!!! They also had day old bagels available. Only $2 for a whole bag and they still tasted great! Will definitely come back soon :)

  • Liv Y.

Such a fab little treasure! I've been coming here since high school and they really are a cute spot to enjoy your morning..or afternoon..bagel. Their bagels are fresh and they offer a wide variety of flavors. My favorites have consistently been the cinnamon and the cranberry. They offer several kinds of breakfast sandwiches. Prices are affordable, and the environment is very casual/quaint, but pleasant. My favorite thing is their coffee! They have a delicious raspberry coffee that I have yet to find at any other coffee spot. Cute, affordable, and tasty. Good job!

I have pretty much stopped eating bread most days but on weekends I treat myself to some with my breakfast. I have gotten into the hap pit of swinging by Bonjour on Saturday morning and getting an Onion Bagel toasted with some light cream cheese. This satisfies my carb urge for the rest of the week. The bagels here are very fresh and delicious. I read through some other reviews that criticized the service but I have to say that today I decided to reward my team at work with some bagels for breakfast so I stopped in to pick up 3 dozen bagels. There was a bit of a line but the staff seemed to move pretty quickly and I was at the from in less that 5 minutes. I didn't get the girls name that took care of me but she was extremely polite and she did a fantastic job of putting together my pretty large order. I have to say that I was more than pleased with my experience today and for her service I am giving them a 5 star.

  • G.G S.

Hidden gem! Their bagels are seeded on BOTH top and bottom (wish more places did that). The everything and sesame bagels are great, but if you like poppy seeds--theirs is perfect! I'm talking a thick blanket of poppy seeds on both ends. Definitely get the veggie cream cheese. Best I have ever had. Then, wash it all down with a cup of their raspberry chocolate flavored coffee, and you won't be able to stop coming back again and again and again. Owner is a lovely lady too.

    (5)
  • Matt S.

I've been coming here for years and they have the best bagels in SoCal. I always get an Everything bagel because they are one of the very few bagel spots that puts the fixins on both sides of the bagel. They also sell day-old bagels for $2 for a half dozen. When Everything bagels are in the basket, I'm powerless to pass up the deal. Edit: best bagels in the country.

  • Adrianne Q.

This is definitely one of the places I love to go to for bagels. I've been going for a couple of times and I always tend to come back. I'm in love with their aloha bagel!!

I was looking for a coffee shop that wasn't like Starbucks. I felt like it was similar. The coffee was really good though.

As an east coaster, I will never find a suitable bagel in California. That being said, Bonjour Bagel is my absolute go-to bagel shop every time. The lemon pepper is amazing, and the sun dried bagel is one of my absolute favorites.

  • Lacy D.

Love this place for 2 reasons. 1. The frosty caramel mocha drinks are amazingly addicting and 2. The egg, bacon and cheese bagel had never been anything less then fantastic!! I can't very enough. 8 months preggo and crave it constantly!!

  • Fritz D.

To the rude girl working the counter, I am sorry your parents force you to work there so you have no life, but treating your customers will like crap will only hurt your family in the long run. Bagel shops are a dime a dozen. I can buy bagels in a multitude of places. A bagel is just a bagel. Never have I thought, "Wow, this bagel is AMAZING. Please tell me which shop I can purchase some from." ***** So I went in to buy a dozen bagels for the office. I asked the girl to give me a dozen assorted bagels. I watch her pack the box, and 9 out of 12 bagels were just plain-looking. With the variety of bagels in the bins, I expected more than just plain and smooth white, egg, wheat flavors, etc. I asked her to change some of them out, like for onion, everything, sesame, tomato, etc. she gave me this really annoyed look and literally FLUNG some boring ones back into the bins and changed a few of them out. in the end, i still ended up with about 6 plain-ish bagels. needless to say, I won't be back.

Great place for breakfast bagels. I've only had better in San Jose, Ca. Great selection, great tasting!

Best club bagel ever yummm. Staff is fruendly food was good and place was clean. Busy but my wait wasnt bad at all

  • J N.

Hmm, I've never had bad service here. Sure, Saturday mornings are a bit crazy in here, but that's to be expected. Plus, the bagels are AMAZING...my favorite is the everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese. The prices are great. Bring cash...there is a 50cent fee on any card transaction under 10 bucks. I don't live in the area anymore, but whenever I'm close I have to stop in and get my bagel fix.

    (5)
  • Maddi M.

Let me start off by saying the bagels here are delicious. my favorite by far. I always get an Everything bagel. The bagels here are so good because they always taste fresh. Soft and doughy not to mention they are HUGE! Now the service can be kind of crappy (rude) sometimes, but I don't really care as long as I get in, get my bagel, and get out everything's A-Ok.

    (4)
  • Foodie S.

Been coming here for a while...and it's consistently delicious. We still don't know how you get a breakfast bacon bagel cooked in a microwave cup with a toasted bagel taste so good. It is truly amazing and we are addicted. Their other bagels are great too, from the sugar glazed to the plain with cream cheese, you will not be disappointed. Love this place!

    (5)
  • Nikki F.

This place is a classic. I've been going here since I was in high school. And now, every time I come back to California I have to stop here. The bagels are made fresh daily and are delicious. They're inexpensive. My bagel (toasted with butter) and medium hot chocolate was under $4.

    (5)
  • Erikka B.

I love this place! Stopped by after a meeting and got a breakfast sandwich on a basil bagel and tried one of their fruit smoothies. Both were fabulous. I didn't realize bagels could make such an impression. Really awesome service too! The girl who helped me was insanely patient and happy to answer all of my questions before I ordered.

    (5)
  • Kate P.

Bonjour Bagel is consistently fresh and delicious. They have a wide variety of bagels, toppings, and flavored cream cheeses to choose from to create your own unique bagel treat. They also have a menu of sandwiches and toppings if you don't like creating your own meal. My all time favorite is a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, avocado, and lemon pepper. It fills me up at lunch time without weighing me down for the day. In my experience the service has always been quick and efficient and my order is always correct. The only negative thing I could say would be that they charge an extra 50 cents to use a card on orders under 10 dollars but for someone who hates to carry cash like I do-- it's not a deal breaker.

    (5)
  • Breanna D.

The service was super fast and the lady that helped me was very nice and friendly. My california club was amazing!!! I am definitely going back!

    (5)
  • Ashley L.

Tomato and Basil bagel with cream cheese and their amazing orange juice. I've been coming to this place since high school. Don't arrive around 8 it's just a bunch of high schoolers. If you do arrive around 8, they have very fast service and you can escape pretty fast.

Wow i never thought i would find a better bagel place then Goldsteins but this cute little shop is a goldmine in the heart of Los Alamitos! Bonjour Bagel Cafe is great, they have a wide variety of fresh bagels to chose from: chocolate chip, raisin cinnamon, cranberry, plain, raspberry etc. and they also make several breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. Their prices are affordable the only thing i wasn't too crazy about is you will be charged a 50 cent fee on your debt/credit card if your purchase is not over $10.00 dollars so i had to use cash today which was fine but normally i use my card. There coffee was very fresh and delicious and they also carry different flavors which is nice but i just ordered their house regular with cream. The bagels go really good with the cream cheese and they have flavored cream cheese also but plain is all i wanted on my cinnamon raisin toasted bagel this morning. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet and the staff is very friendly. Oh and all the bagels are Super Big and they will fill you up! This was a great treat and i am glad i stopped here first thing this morning..

  • Jessica C.

Now the only reason i am rating it so low is for the service. I will say i ordered the bagel combo for a small group and we were all pleased with the food. One of the girls, with dirty blonde hair, was extremely rude!!!! After ordering a large order. When i went to pay for it, i repeated the order just to make sure it was right and the woman cut me off, puts her hand up and said "i know, she already told me! After checking the bag i realized it was wrong!!! There was no apologies for the inconvenience from anyone behind the table. Like i said the food is good but the service is awful. No smiles! It felt as if i was bothering them because they didn't want to be there. I would not recommend this place to anyone of my friends because i wouldn't want them to be mistreated. Notes to the owner: your food is great!!! But your bad apples making it will ruin your business.

  • Karine W.

The food was excellent. I went there because my friends liked it. I ordered the lox on bagel. Their portions were quite generous. The only problem I had was that the customer service was poor. I went on a weekend day (after July 4th holiday) and the staff seemed upset that they were working. I asked if the tuna salad had relish and they snapped back, "no". I asked another question and got the same response. They did not offer any alternatives.

Went here last Saturday to treat myself to a bagel; I am we to the area and the shop was. Lose with good reviews. I was so happy to find a bag of 6 day old bagels for only $2.00 when it was after 11 am! (I wrap them individually and freeze them.). Staff was friendly, service was prompt but if you want a real bagel don't go here. I think that they totally miss the boiling part of the process of making a bagel; their bagels seemed baked only. This was truely disappointing to me as the bagel was the most important thing to me.

The best bagels ever. I had no idea how good I had it until I moved away from CA! Sourdough bagel with butter and a frosty mocha. I'm salivating thinking about it.

Delish :] I've been here a couple times for the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese!) on a jalapeno bagel. Honestly great stuff. It's a popular little spot so the line gets long quickly, but it's definitely worth it. The only downside is the employees aren't very friendly. They don't smile! I usually don't judge people like that but it's seriously all 3 girls who work there on weekend mornings (the only times I've been). They kind of look like they're annoyed you showed up. But I don't want to leave this review on a sour note so to recap - THE BAGELS ARE DELICIOUS. I really want to try some of their interesting cream cheese flavors but I have yet to tear myself away from the goodness of the breakfast sandwich. So please come and try for yourself - sooo worth it.

The bagels were good, We had the lox and were very happy. The service was terrible, my wife mentioned that we had found the place on Yelp and with that the taller dirty blond woman stated that had I looked at the postings than I would have known lox was served, this was in response to my earlier question of "were lox served" I responded that I had read the reviews and only saw lox mentioned once or twice. She then told me that it is referred as "The classic bagel". I was amazed that the was willing to start a fight with a first time customer. After reading the reviews again I see that a common thread among many of them is the poor customer relations, the bad attitudes of the two women working there. If one person said it, so what, if two people say it, than maybe there is something to consider and if three or more say it than it is probably the truth. The bagels were Good, The people working in the store remind me of those that Chef Ramsey walked out on.

My husband and I love this place. They have delicious bagels and coffee and the services are great. We came upon this place because I was searching for a bagel place via the web, and when I found Bonjour Bagel in Los Alamitos I was thrilled. This is our Saturday mornings happy spot!

The bagels are always good, although there is enough cream cheese on one bagel for 3 or 4 of them! They have a very good selection of bagels, different kinds of cream cheese and even sandwiches if you want to pick up something quick for lunch. They also have a pretty good selection of beverages as well. The everything bagel is great and I love their pumpkin bagels. They almost always have several bags of day old bagels for $1.50 which is a bargain! I haven't found a bagel place yet that compares to Bonjour. I have been to quite a few different bagel places and this by far is my favorite. The girls are always busy when I go in and work hard and since they have seen me quite often lately, have started to remember what I order, which is so nice!

This place is awful..and I love almost all bagels, so I gave them quite a few chances. The owner is horrible with the customers, bordering on rude. She always tells me that my order is a disgusting combination and she will not refund my money when I don't like it...(which is the same bagel/cream cheese combo I always get and like..but not here.) The taste of the bagels is about a 2 out of 5..on a good day. The girls working there are sometimes nice, but usually mess up my order. (A bagel with cream cheese seems simple enough.) And the last time I went the girl didn't even ask me what I wanted on my bagel, and just gave me what she wanted to put on MY bagel. Bad business, bad food.

Great food, poor service. I have come to accept that the customer service is not the best but my last experience takes the cake. I was on my way to pick up a dozen bagels and called ahead to see if they could have them pre cut. The busy times are usually early in the mornings and it was about noon so I figured it was not a difficult request. The girl who answered took the order and was asking another person about the cost of slicing the bagels as there's an extra charge, which was no big deal. The other girl comes on the line and says they can't give me a dozen plain bagels as they may not have enough in case other customers come in and may want a plain bagel. I need to preorder an order this size. Seriously? I didn't know there was a limit on the number of bagels per customer. There were other flavored bagels but I guess they feel it's better to have bagels available for the 'just in case' customer that may never come in and to most likely having unsold bagels.

has seating inside and few tables outside. the complex is pretty empty in the morning except for BB so parking is easy. Bagels are fresh and there are a lot of options.

Well the line was out the door and we knew it had to be good. My husband and I went there for breakfast one morning and it was amazing. Great selection, friendly staff, and everyone else in there...all the customers were friendly too. Great little place with that Los Al small town feel to it. Parking is good, and shopping center it is in has other great places to check out. Another reason to Love Los Al!

I used to work out by Bonjour Bagels and now that I don't, it's quite a drive. But what you need to know is that it is SO good that I still drive out here every once in a while! Honestly, I always get the breakfast bagel. They have a great combo deal and I swear that their everything bagel is far superior than any other place I've been. It might be the fact that they put the "everything" mix on the entire bagel, not just the top. Makes my breath smell, but I'll brush my teeth twice in the morning for this breakfast bagel ANY time! They're really quick at getting you your bagel. For debit cards, they require a $5.00 minimum purhcase (which is the exact price for the combo... coincidence? Nope.com ) For credit cards, it's a $10.00 minimum Please go! It's amazing! :)

The place is cute, quaint, and the counter seemingly manned entirely by teenage girls. I like coming here on weekend mornings, and it's a short walk from my house (it'd be even shorter if I wasn't too chicken to j-walk). It's always just slightly bustling but never inaccessibly so. Good selection of bagels and cream cheese available here. My favorite is the sun-dried tomato & basil bagel and either the chive or garden cream cheese. Delicious! I've tried their bagel sandwiches before and I don't care for them at all. Terribly bland. I guess it wouldn't offend me so much if I hadn't had a great bagel sandwich elsewhere before. :( Aside from that, their bagels are fine, and the service is chipper.

I work for a doctor's office who insists we get bagels every Wednesday, but they must be from Bonjour. Personally, they are the best bagels I have had. My favorite is the everything bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese. YUMMMMMMMY!!!!!! I highly recommend this place.

Loved it! I was pretty sketch after reading some reviews, but I went and have been like 10 times since. Bagels are good, fresh and soft. Breakfast sandwiches are really good. I watch the girls rush out mass amounts of bagels and treat the regulars, quickly and with great customer service so they dont have to wait. LOVE IT! I use to work at a bagel shop and know how difficult it is. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!

an old favorite... this takes me back to los al high school, which is usually not a good thing, but i really liked to order a bagel sandwich/pickle/iced coffee at lunch time. all of the sandwiches are fresh and tasty. you can order by phone, but only if its less than three sandwiches. i love smoked salmon, so i always get the lox. it comes hot with tomato and a ton of sliced red onion.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today. As a displaced New Yorker living in Socal, these are the first true NY style bagels around. In most SoCal bagels, the toppings/flavorings are applied very lightly. At Bonjour, the garlic bagel is completely crusted with roasted garlic. For the everything bagels, there's positively no skimping. The bagels are big and chewy with the interior lacking the "Wonder bread" consistency that is so common around here. The coffee's really good also. We'll be back here regularly. Incidently, this place supplies bagels to the It's a Grind coffee house chain.

I found this place in my GPS when I was on a desperate search for a bagel. Just my odd cravings. Well, this place hits the spot! I got the egg and cheese bagel and it was fantastic. No skimping on the egg and the bagel was toasted perfectly. Super fast service too. I will definitely be back.
